Nashville State School has a very successful camping program.
Students in Prep engage in day activities at school. Year 1 students are involved in an afternoon at school. The Year 2 and 3 programs are in development. The Year 4 students participate in a one night 2 day camp at an Environmental Education Centre. Year 5 attend a Leadership based camp and Year 6 are able to attend our Canberra Trip to study democracy and Australian history. Parents will be given plenty of notice and detailed information regarding, dates, program, costs, venue, menu's etc. These opportunities develop leadership, team building and independence skills as well as links with the curriculum that provide rich teaching and learning opportunities.
